“Seek not success, but truth, and you will find both. Work to become, not acquire. Measure wealth by the things you have, which you would not exchange for money.” -Ecc 12:13
We Quote Ecc 12 :13.
Why do we hustle? Who do we do it for? What sacrifices are we making each and every day, just in-turn of seeking intellectual knowledge or the material pursuit of wealth?
Does success really weigh anything? I mean, I guess so, for the simple fact that it does allow our mind to want discipline in order to reach that thing called success.
But is it really worth it?
Success is a beautiful thing, in fact, it’s so beautiful the journey to success is quite ugly and tiresome, but ya know what they say, “nothing in the world worth having comes easy.” That is indeed a fact.
Personally, I don’t really know what level of success I’m seeking, however, I do know it’s going to take a lot of time and even more sacrifice to reach it.
Even though I’m down for the challenge, I sometimes think if it’s worth sacrificing the things that mean the most to me, quality time with those I love and being attentive to others and their needs. I don’t want the journey to my dream to shadow my relationships, because it can, and everything can become the focus of the success–that’s scary sometimes.
Always remember it’s about the balance, and doing things for right reasons. It’s so easy to get caught up in a self mentality, especially during the desperate times you’ll encounter on your path, but always remember why your chasing your dreams, and who that matters to, because you don’t want to forget those things/people once you get to the top.
Never forget to live a humble life .
